Proximity requires a grasp of possibility not capable of being captured within conventional commitments. Being local interferes with the economical estimation of equitable trades. There is too much complexity to be compressed within foreign weaponry and its signal disruption.
Locally, priorities may align in ways that money isn't very helpful in adjudicating.
For not only is contemporary money more noise than signal. In my home hills, we've only ever had foreign currencies with which to trade in.
